Absolutely gorgeous, Rita! The oranges really look like they are peering at their reflections. I am so curious--what are you using in the background in this series?
Hi Virginia,Thank you so much for all your comments and kindness. I have been putting pots up for the reflections.I have used a few different sizes that I thought would work. I dont have time to spend setting up.When my little foster son goes to bed I paint so I don't even spend five minutes on that.During the day I get an idea of the objects and colors. The still life is set up on my kitchen table. The color of the painting is a little different and disapointing in the morning .Sometimes I have to work on it again.

ReplyDeleteReally beautiful . . . am loving your fruit series, the vibrant color and lush brushstrokes. They look so fresh!
